Two-time winner at the Employee Engagement Awards
We did it! We brought home the gold! Last night, our treasured talent team got rewarded for their incredible efforts at the second edition of the Herculean Alliance’s Employee Engagement Awards. Not only once, but twice.
For the record: we’re not prize-freaks, but we do take pride when our efforts are rewarded. And rightly so. Given the not-so-ideal circumstances the past year, our talent team went the extra mile to create a vivid atmosphere where all of our colleagues feel involved, appreciated, challenged and have the chance to develop themselves.
Initiatives like Summer Academy coaching, speaking at Meetups, the incorporation of knowledge-sharing, working in autonomous teams, wild team trips and a range of L&D possibilities definitely caught the eye of the jury. Remote or in our offices, we managed to fire up the heart of our company: the people who work here.
The evening had one more surprise for us: winning a second award. Bringing home the NextGen award was the icing on the cake of a perfect evening. And maybe that’s the most valuable recognition we could get. Being selected as the ‘ideal employer of the next generation’ strengthens us that we’re on the right path for the future. In this raging war on talent, it shows that we’re making the right strategic decisions and that we genuinely have a lot to offer for future hires.
Ready for the future
Does it stop there? Of course not. We know that engaging our employees is a continuous work in progress and a process of trial and error. But we also know that we take it seriously and aim to ace it. This year has been a crown on our employee engagement efforts, but we’re more than ready to take it up a notch and lift our employee engagement to even higher levels.
